I just realized that Witten came within 20 yards of getting 1,000 yds and Keyshawn came with 30 yds. Also, had JJ been healthy he would have had 1,000 yds as well. It may not have meant a lot but when was the last time we had something like that? Maybe somethings are looking up. Now we just need a QB. Still.

1548 yards rushing & 483 yards receiving, 9 TDs. (Edgerrin James)
1113 yards receiving, 15 TDs. (Marvin Harrison)
1210 yards receiving, 12 TDs. (Reggie Wayne)
1077 yards receiving, 10 TDs. (Brandon Stokley)
4557 yards passing, 49 TDs, 10 INTs. (Peyton Manning)
522 points scored. Most in the NFL. (Colts)
3 WRs over 1000 yards, plus a RB over 1500, and a QB over 4500, in a 500+ point scoring offense.
Truly an amazing set of stats. That should give you at least an inkling of what 3 of our players achieving those milestones could add. Wish we were closer to this.

Ouch! Man that is some set of numbers. And after all of that they are playing in the first round of the playoffs. Glad we are in the NFC right now.

I don't know cajun, does this scenario still include Vinny as our starter? If so, probably about the same as what we accomplished this season.

Umm, no. That would include any other QB not using the initials VT. I agree that it wouldn't have meant a lot to this season but with those kinds of numbers on a bad team, imagine what it could mean when we get a good QB and some line blocking.

the patriots or steelers will soon "sort out" the colts stats. defense wins championships. always has. always will.

Oh, then if that's the case we should do pretty dang good. And plus, I'd expect to see Julius have a huge season, if he remains healthy, due to the fact he gained over 800 yards despite missing half the season and poor blocking by our OL.

Okay, so considering we have no offense and no defense to speak of it looks like we're not going to win any championships anytime soon.

The Colts sorted out the Pats in the 1st game of the year, but Edge couldn't hold on to the ball in teh red zone. Colts should have won.
New rules emphasis + #1 scoring offense just may prove that old adage wrong. I get tired of oversimplifications like that anyway :)

don't assume this jd. the league turns on a dime anymore. look at where the steelers and chargers were last year.
