My wife usually cooks either 2 eggs and ham on a plate, or 1 egg with ham and cheese on an english muffin with some type of juice. (orange or Welches Lite grape juice)
Today I had Honey Nut Cheerios.
I never drink coffee until I get to work. I don't want it messing with my hour of extra sleep on the train while commuting in. :)

I ate my usual crisp, juicy Gala apple.
Then, our secretary showed up with donuts and I had to have one, so I got one with chocolate icing on top.
I'll eat a handful of green chile- and garlic-flavored pistachios a little later.

Do you put anything in your shake? When I do the chocolate shake I put a banana in and blend it.
I love frozen strawberries and blueberries in the vanilla ones.

About the only thing you can get away with putting in a chocolate shake is a banana.
If you put Strawberries or blueberries in a chocolate shake it tastes NAAAASTY.

Nothing in the chocolate but when I'm just using protein powder I'll use frozen bananas and strawberries or blueberries.

Any of you guys ever eat S.O.S for breakfast?
I make my grandaddy's Cream Chipped Beef recipe from WWII about twice a year...during the holidays mostly. My absolute favorite breakfast...two slices of toasted bread covered in S.O.S and eggs over easy. Amazing.

Blender because I like the shakes thicker than you can make in a shaker.

I've heard of it but never seen it in a restaurant down here. I tend to stick to scrambled eggs, bacon, grits and buttered toast/biscuits.

I've never had it for breakfast, but my mom used to make it for dinner. It's one of my favorites, but I rarely have it. I think I might make one more little trip to the store.... :)
This morning was 2 cups of coffee with the Coffeemate Gingerbread creamer, and I shared a Blueberry Nutrigrain bar and a Nature Valley Fruit and Nut bar with our daughter.

You protein shake guys oughta try this for a change of pace.
Wedges of apple, peel on, smeared with peanut butter, then pressed into your favorite granola-type cereal. Sometimes I'll drizzle a little chocolate or hot fudge sauce over these. Kids love 'em!!

I guess I'm missing something. I usually eat an apple and some nuts (pistachios). Today, I added a donut (because someone sat one in front of me). Is that brutal?
I'm not a big breakfast eater. I hold out and eat an early, big lunch.

All that sugar, natural (apple) or refined with a chocolate doughnut. Then follow it with Chili and garlic nuts.
Yeah, that's brutal. :laugh1:
I can't eat sweets on an empty stomach and that includes apples, then add the opposite with some sort of pepper and garlic would just do me in. I need serious base of regular foods before I start going nuts with sweets and/or spices.
Some people have iron stomachs, I sure don't.

I never thought of the apples as having sugar, but I guess they do. I was trying to eat healthy (fruits/nuts).

And you are. They are good for you, just for some reason they kill my stomach. I eat an apple every day, after dinner, after my stomach has something in it.
