Unless the Cowboys are playing I usually spend my Sunday doing other things...so I usually try to catch highlights or read up.

Is this guy the freak his numbers would indicate? Is it just blinding speed? I can't imagine that...he must have great vision or balance or all of the above.

With the way he is playing, is he the best back in the game? Even over Peterson...

IMO, he's the best running back in the NFL and right now I would take him over AP every day of the week and twice on Sunday. I think he ran in the low 4.3's, he's quick, great balance, cuts really hard and can break tackles. Plus, he doesn't fumble much which is in stark contrast to Peterson.

He and Felix are a lot alike, but Johnson can stay healthy and has shown he can carry the full load.

We probably didn't draft Johnson in part because he had shoulder issues out of college. So did Steven Jackson. I say the next time we are thinking RB in the draft we should seek out shoulder injuries with RB's and draft them. :o:

CJ is a BEAST! Nothing else to say about him. He's just beastly.

Quite a few times. I have to watch the Texans games, so I've seen him when they've played the Titans.

Plus, I've had him the past two years in fantasy football. I always pay attn to his games.

I haven't seen him play, but I heard somewhere that he's not that bad.

I just saw a highlight of the 85 yard run he had the other day. What amazing speed, I was shocked when he beat the last few guys to the corner. It sounds like what from some are saying he can break tackles and doesn't fumble.

And all that with a horrible passing game??? His YPC are ridiculous, unheard of. Looks like he's a gamer for the long haul.

I've seen him play several times. He's a flat out stud.

He ran a 4.24 at the combine, one of the fastest ever if not THE fastest. I've definitely never seen a player period with better football speed. It's amazing. Not sure if true but I read that he's the only player in NFL history with at least 3 runs of over 85 yards in a CAREER. And he did it in 11 games of one season. I have to say I was wrong on him, I didn't think he'd be a great pro, I thought it would be nothing but speed. But he's got the total package, he's very powerful for being 200 pounds. Great patience and vision..best back in the league.

I think he ran the 2nd fastest recorded time

some scrub a few years back has the record

I don't think he's in the league anymore

He's doing what LT did in his prime. If he's not the best back going he's a close second.

I have him on my fantasy team, so I've watched him quite a bit this year.

His moves are reminiscent of Barry Sanders... maybe not quite as stunning, but close... and he seems to have more straight-away speed than Barry.

Peterson is certainly more powerful and bruising, but considering the fumbling problems he's been having, I'd take CJ over him.

I like Felix, but it makes me a little queasy to think we took him over Johnson.

Notice who was trailing?

DRC who ran a 4.33 at the combine.

CJ is out of this word fast.

Amazing. He's gonna break 2000 yards. 1400 with 1/3 of the way to go.

The problem with Johnson, who is amazing, is that I don't think he's going to have a very long NL career.

I think the Titans are running him too much and at his size, he's going to wear down quickly.

Also, for a guy who relies on his speed primarily, one knee injury turns him into an ordinary running back.

How 'bout that young b-baller that challenged him to a foot race for 2G's??:D

I see him every week here in Nashville. He has great natural ability and some of his runs are jaw dropping. He had better learn however to stop taking the big hits because he will only be around for 4 or 5 years.

Also, he has the ego the size of Tennessee. From people who I know who know him he is obnoxious as heck as well.

I'll admit it, I had never heard of CJ before he ran that 40 time. I figured he would be a JAG with a great college highlight real. Glad I am not a GM, the kid is a stud. Second best back to AP IMO.
