View Full Version : Who thought Witten was used right?

I know this may sound odd to some given that Witten broke the old mark in catches by a Dallas tightend but I really thought he could have been used more effectively. He always seemed to be the secondary option and I just didn't see alot of times where they Dallas offenses seemed to try and isolate parts of the field for Witten to work with. He has that classic "too big for a DB, too fast for a LB" mojo working for him but yet I don't think Parcells and company took advantage of that fact nearly enough. For Parcells being credited for using great tightends (bavaro and the NE tightend whose name escapse me right now) I was just dissapointed and thought that he could have been an even bigger weapon than what he was. Need to breakout Kansas City game tapes and see how they use Gonzales. Thoughts on this?
