The media and fans have had a tense relationship with Jim Caldwell since he took over.

He will be crucified if this happens.

More like Bill Polian.

Caldwell's just a puppet who was thrown into a bad situation where he has to be a yes man.

If and when they play again, the Colts will lay a hurtin' on them.

I wouldn't be supprised if they saw that letting the Jets win put the Steelers in an even more impossible senario to get into the playoffs and made it happen.

I will laugh my butt off. If Cowboys dont win I would route for Jets... AND I like Peyton LMAO

This is most likely true but the Bears werent supposed to beat the Mighty Vikings either. Keep in mind the Colts were struggling against Jets with their starters. Manning was missing his WR's etc.

This is what I was thinking as well.

I don't think anyone would want to play the Steelers with Troy Polamalu back. They're a completely different team with him in the secondary.

Bingo.

And the Jets play Cincy next. Cincy will lay down, too. And NE plays Houston. NE should lay down, too.

Keep Pgh out of the playoffs. You can't beat them and the refs at the same time. Remember the Seattle game.

LOL

There is no "bingo" here. The Colts coach over-thought this through and decided the perfect season was important. Health was.... He didnt throw the game to make it difficult for Steelers.

If the Jets make it to the SB I'm sure my bandwagon jumping boss would go back to the Jets.:bang2:

But it won't happen because the Colts won't pull Manning again unless they are up big.

I can say I'd laugh pretty hard if they wound up beating Indy on the way to the Superbowl.

That would be the prevailing point of view, but the Jets defense is certainly a good one. Upsets do happen. A Jets victory would be funny to say the least.

Funny because the Jets fans I know are cool and hate alot of the teams we hate. Guess who their favorite NFC team is? Take a guess, and you'll be surprised. Since alot of them despise the Giants the people I know love the Cowboys in the NFC. So they are pretty harmless, and they respect us too which is odd in the NFL. So yeah I'll pull for the BIG GREEN Wrecking Machine. I'm glad they are enjoying their ride, and I hope they pull out an upset. I mean granted some probably hate us. But the ones I met despise anything NY Giant related, and pull for us against them and Philthy.

I'd rather anyone win it but the Jets.

I simply can not stand their coach.

**** the Saints. If the Saints win the Super Bowl, ESPN will be slurping them as "America's Team" due to Hurricane Katrina until the next Super Bowl.

The Colts are probably thinking that rolling over for the Jets is the best thing they did this season. If any team had their number, it was the Chargers and the Jets just saved the Colts from having to face them.

The Colts gave life to a team that was dead. Like carrying a fighter into the later rounds and THEN BOOM... a KNOCKOUT (when you could have knocked them out in first couple of rounds)

You never know...
