Re-sign Cambell
Cut Portis
Trade Landry to Oak for a 4th
Draft Anthony Davis #4 overall
Trade Moss to Chicago for a 3rd
Actually re-build through the draft

But theyll probably just sign Wilfork for $100M, draft Claussen, ignore the line and still suck

- Hire a competent GM
- Hire a qualified head coach who knows how to build consistent winners
- Get the owner to step back
- Start rebuilding the OLine asap, right now, pronto
- Do your damn best to find a high quality QB, even if he doesn't start for awhile
- Have patience

Going to need a lot more talent than a QB to right that ship. There are gaping holes on both sides of the ball.

Will be interesting to see how he handles playing the NFCEast. He's not in Kansas anymore Toto...

That's why I mentioned 1) hiring a competent GM, 4) rebuilding the OLine, and 5) showing patience lol.

No one will give up a 3rd for Santana Moss.

I'm curious what kind of O-line he wants to run.

I'm not so sure the fast/quick types he utilized will work in the East.

I don't think so either.

But, I bet if you put him with a competent #1 and throw him in the slot he would go bonkers again.

That sombatch still makes me boil inside.

I wouldn't give up a third but he'd be a good compliment to our wr corp.

I'm not convinced, either...but anything would be better than our OLine of the past 2-3 years lol

Agreed.

I will always believe Campbell is a putrid QB, but I don't know of too many QBs that could have survived behind that line. Although I'm still not convinced that the Oline was _the only_ reason for your troubles.

I am truly convinced Campbell isn't quick enough mentally to process what's going on in coverages. Not enough smarts and slow release doesn't make for much success behind a line that is awful.

Campbell's release isn't that slow anymore...hasn't been since partnering up with Zorn, to be honest. He definitely needs to react quicker, I'm not sure if that's due to not "mentally processing" the field quick enough or not having enough confidence in his receivers downfield to throw the ball before they get open.

not having enough confidence in his receivers downfield to throw the ball before they get open.

Partly due to the fact that he's making the wrong reads. Doesn't help when you're staring down your receiver and over throwing them. Not to mention the sand darts that he tosses.

I honestly haven't watched much Skin's games this year, but I do believe they tried to make it easy on him by cutting down half the field and giving him less to process.

Didn't work apparently.

I never heard about them cutting down "half the field"...I do know they simplified the process of getting the play called and organizing everyone pre-snap. And considering that Campbell improved noticeably on every stat except for INT% I'm not sure how you can claim it "didn't work".

He didn't improve on the most important stat... Wins.

How many games have you guys won with him throwing the ball?

How many points did you average?

Yes, a multitude of things contributed to your woes, but they start with the guys under center.

He's just not a winner. He won't win you games if you need to depend on his arm.

1. Trade their #1 to Dallas for Bobby Carpenter.
2. Let John Riggens publicly give Dan Snyder a turbo weggie.
3. Sign Portis to an extension and make him offensive captain.
4. Give Shanahan total final say over picking all players, even defense (they actually did that one).

Presto, doormats for the next five years.

Unfortunately the only way the Redskins are going to be fixed is if Snyder has a tragic accident.

And nobody with even a slight knowledge of football would claim that the record was due to the ineffectiveness of the changes they made in how Campbell ran the huddle and called the plays.

Which, of course, was the point that was being discussed lol...

3 out of 4 teams in the NFC East think there is nothing wrong with the Redskins whatsoever.

Don't fix what ain't broke.

:lmao:
Too bad Maurice Clarrett is still in jail. Shanahan could really use him, now.

And, Shanahan could choose Zimmer as his defensive coordinator. Shanahan picking the defensive players and Zimmer coaching them. Me like very much.

That team is a joke of a franchise. I don't understand how they can tell me Jerry Jones is a terrible owner, and how Romo sucks, and Demarcus Ware is average compaired to their linebackers. Talk about delusional, and uneducated tools for fans. I mean some are rational, but when you meet a Skins fan you've met them all. The first thing they do is bash Dallas every constant waking minute. Let em be jealous over 5 decades of us owning them.
