This according to ESPN Insider:
The Lions and Jags will swap 1st round picks and the Lions will get Donovin Darius and another draft pick. The trade is contingent upon Roy Williams being available at #6. The Lions would then take Steven Jackson at #9.

There's no way we were going to get Jackson anyway.

Very interesting. If this is true then that means the raiders were not really hot and heavy for Roy Williams. I wonder who they will pick at 2 if the don't move?

In the same article it says the Raiders will take Gallery at #2.

Once Oakland hears this I think they will take Roy Williams at 2. It might be a reach but this information shouldn't have been leaked because Oak most likely would've traded down with Cle and Jax could've got their guy. Oak is high on Roy Williams, I think they have to take him at 2. This is bad news for us even though we won't have a chance at Jackson at 22 it means with him off the board Jones could be gone before we pick too. D@mn It!!!

They were going to trade with Cle because they knew they could get Roy Williams at Cle slot but if Jax moves into 6 I dont think they will trade down if they are really as high as everybody is saying they are on RW. What does Washington have to trade? They tried to trade with SD for Gallery but Samuels wouldn't do it.

I could see Oakland taking Gallery or Fitz.

Too bad the Jags did not insist the Lions also take Hugh Douglas.
That would break the deal. :p

That stinks. I wonder if Kevin Jones will still be on the board when the Cowboys pick.

don't be surprised if someone moves ahead of Washington to select Winslow...many experts think he's the best player in the draft.
I'd love to see someone take him ahead of Washington.

Yeah if Jackson goes in the top 10, then KJ will probably not be on the board at #22

It is unfortunate but even if Winslow is gone, you figure Washington is going to get a pretty darn good player.

The Raiders will take Roy Williams. They won't pass up his combo of size, stength, and speed. This will nullify the Lions and Jags trade.
