Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune (http://www.chicagobreakingsports.com/2010/01/ex-bears-coordinator-blache-retires.html) reports Greg Blache, the defensive coordinator from 1999 to 2003, told the Chicago Tribune tonight that he is retiring after 22 seasons in the NFL. He declined comment.
Blache was the defensive coordinator of the Washington Redskins for the last two seasons and previously served as the defensive line coach there. The Redskins hired Jim Haslett as defensive coordinator Tuesday and Blache's situation was resolved today.
