that Pau Gasol lost us the game. Misses two free throws with 24 seconds to go? really? not to mention he played god awful in the paint. We'll see the Cavs again in June.

And maybe LeBron will get pregnant or something between now and then because, as it is, no one on the Lakers can even think about slowing him down.

its safe to say that a regular season game at this point in the season is pretty meaningless, i wouldnt sweat it too much if i was a laker fan, specially considering gasol has just recently returned from injury

It's just a meaningless regular season game. I just want momentum and to be fully healthy come playoffs....and a new PG at the trade deadline. Go get Kirk Heinrich or Devin Harris. We get murdered every game by PG's.

How much trash talking, chest thumping, or pride can be gained or lost in a meaningless regular season match up in January?

Yeah, but my favorite Laker has always been Derek Fisher, if anything i would like to see him as the backup. He shall retire a Laker..hopefully:D

He will. Lakers resign him for the league minimum next year, so he can stay president and help with the next CBA.

I love Fish for all the big shots he has made, but he should be playing about 10 minutes a night.

Nada, Kobe and the Lakers will turn it on when it's most important. The thing Kobe and the Lakers know how to do, unlike the prince.

I'm sorry, but anyone that thinks Kobe is better than LeBron right now is either blind or clueless. Simple as that. Kobe had the 3rd, 4th and 5th best players on the court on his team, yet he still shoots it 31 times. I know he's hurt, but that doesn't excuse his assists not going up at all in the last 10 games while his FG% is hovering around 30. Its stubborn is what it is.

The difference is Lebron wouldn't be playing with those injuries, but I do agree that he should stop taking so many shot until his injuries are better.

He has a broken finger. Give me a break. You're on here acting like Kobe has a torn ACL and a broken neck. It's not about the pain, it's about his effectiveness and right now that is seriously lacking. He's hurting them by playing. He may wanna play up the part of the "warrior" but they would be better leaning on Gasol right now and weathering the storm till Kobe is healthy, but he would never go for that. Because he's stubborn.

They can't lean on him either, he has a bad hamstring and is not even close to being 100%

I went to the Knicks/Lakers game, which the Lakers won. And it was my first time seeing Pau live. The dude is soft as cake.
