The AFC is clearly the weaker conference right now.

I hate the Jets but it sure would be ironic if they came back to bit the Colts in the butt after the Colts basically let them in the playoffs by laying down in week 16.

That said Manning vs Brees is the match up most want to see including myself.

The difference between the Jets and Vikings is that the Jets are sending more than four guys so the they have 1v1s on WRs.

The Vikes rushed 4 and got pressure so Tony just couldn't throw the ball up because they had 7 in coverage. Not even the Peyton "god" could move the ball in that.

I've seen a few games, more impressed by Irvins play.

Most of the Irvin plays i've seen he had to fight to get the ball then fight for YAC, best Rice plays i've seen was him running down the field, ball lands in his arms and he just keeps going and gets a TD, not impressive at all. good QB's made Rice.

Irvin made Irvin.

I think the whole team starts to get a groove when we score on an opening drive. The fact that we didn't and came up short the first couple of times let the frustration set in and then it sort of snow-balled.

From what i've seen Irvin is way better than Rice, of course I didn't see all 5 million of his games since he was the first incarnation of Favre, and Revis is overrated in comparison to the people whom say he is the best CB of all time. Sure during Big games, and against Physical Recievers you can take Irvin over Jerry Rice. But there is something abou the longetivity and what Rice produced over his career, that makes it no contest for Jerry Rice.

Heck, Michael Irvin thinks Jerry Rice is WR :D

Revis has "Deon-like" qualities because I've seen him make some impossible interceptions. The reason Rex Ryan's D is so successful is because corners like Revis can be left with 1v1 matchups and can make the play when they need to.

The Jets running game is allowing them to make big plays on passes. They are making excellent yardage on running the ball.

Colts D is playing eight to nine in the box. They are basically telling the Jets that they won't win unless Sanchez throws the ball.

Jets D is blitzing Manning with man coverage on WRs. Jets D is practically begging for Manning to throw it.
