Can he play safety??? :D

On a serious note, though, he's probably the only Redskin I would have loved seeing wearing the Star!

I can run a 4.43 40 yard dash based off a hand timer, as long as I'm controlling the timer.

40 yards is about as far as I can run anymore and I would be lucky to break the 10 second mark. :geezer:

Same here. I even said so in that Cowboy wish thread. I think he is one of those freaks of nature that could still play well into his latter years. I bet he could still be competitive as some teams 3rd corner and play an "Aaron Glenn" role if he wanted to.

If I had a twitter account, I would've run a 4.35 forty today. Just if ;)

Wow. That is simply very impressive if he's really able to still run that fast.

I lived down the hall from Darrell in college. He was not only the most outstanding athlete I ever saw, but the nicest, classiest too. He rode a bike around campus all the time, and had that big smile. The man is all class.

A few years ago I was on a business trip to northern VA, and he was doing his radio show in a sports bar. I went there, and during one of the breaks he recognized me and came up to me and said hi. The dude remembered me.

His Aunt, Mrs. Reed, was my 4th grade teacher.

We met him when he came to take her to lunch and he wasn't much bigger than some of the 6th graders who had failed a couple times, lol. But he was an extremely nice guy and he's the one Redskin that didn't turn my stomach.
