Donovan McNabb-QB- Eagles Mar. 9 - 2:04 pm et
Despite protestations to the contrary, NFLFanhouse's Dan Graziano reports the Eagles have contacted teams to discuss a possible interest in Donovan McNabb.
Graziano's source cautions that the team is still undecided about their quarterback decision, trying to gauge interest and possible compensation for Michael Vick and Kevin Kolb in addition to McNabb. While we're sure the Eagles have a plan for their QBs this offseason, nothing concrete has emerged beyond a willingness to sit back and wait for a desperate team to overpay.

OF course they have. I don't care what Andy Reid say's, if they get they get the right deal he's gone. They want kolb to be the QB.

They want to get something for any of those QBs. What they get for one will help decide what to do with the other two.

im throwing this out there and i know other people are thinking it. Are they waiting for Minnesota to come knocking on their door? I said last year Minne should have traded for McNabb. Could it be this year they wise up. Or do we see the complete "no one called it" and SEATTLE calls up Philly?
They have to deal him before the draft because if you do draft a qb high, you might as well play him and see what you have. Some teams will not have a chance at a huge turn around in their divisions so you might as well see what you get from the draft.
If I am Philly, I would move McNabb, but find a good desperate suitor out there. I think the Rams go QB personally, so they are out in my fantasy land. But if Seattle doesnt take one of the QB's, why not deal for McNabb?

Yep, I think there's too much smoke for there not to be any fire on this one. Clayton has said since the season ended that they were only talking up McNabb to up his trade value.

They will attempt to move one of the Qb's.

I think they can get deals done - if they give up the notion that they're the "smartest guys in the room" and everyone else is an idiot.
Everybody knows that they don't want to give McNabb an extension - they re-upped his salary while avoiding added yesr - that says it all.
So they can either keep jhim and let him go next season for nothing, or they can move him now and get draft pick(s) in return.
As for Vick, good luck paying his $1.5 million bonus and thinking someone is gonna give up draft picks AND pay him $5 million this season.

Everyone should believe Favre will be back in Minny come week 1 of the regular season. He has a heck of a football team, has a team willing to be patient with him and can't kick his football addiction.
McNabb to Chicago, Arizona and other places seems far more likely.

I would say St Louis should just slap the *rebuilding* sticker on the franchise and not worry about signing Free agents. thats just me. They might want to go for mcNabb but I cant see logically why you would do it.
I dont know if McNabb sells enough jerseys to justify the signing, nor is he young enough to build around.

If your Minnesota and Farve does not come back, wouldn't it make sense for the Vikings to go after McNabb?

Given Whisenhunt's lack of confidence in Leinart, I can see that happening.
And McNabb lives in Arizona if I'm not mistaken.
Seems a really plausible scenario.

There is no way Favre doesn't come back. If he hasn't even done his regular post season retirement, he's not retiring this season.
