that we have a realistic shot at? so don't say Suh or McClain guys that we have no shot at. also it doesn't have to be a 1st round pick it could be any round. so who is the player you would most like us to draft?
mine is pretty self-explanatory.

hmmm tough one. I really like Golden Tate. But I also really like Vladimir Ducasses. oooh Nate Allen too. So I'll go with all 3.

Jason Fox. OT. Miami

Let me explain why:
I wanted him when he was projected to be a 1st round prospect, yup even then those 6+ months ago I wanted the Cowboys to get him. He fell a little to a early 2nd round prospect, at that point I wanted to trade down and grab him. He then had that heart issue, nothing that should effect his game though- he has free fallen, some project him as late as the middle of the 4th round!
I say we grab him at the end of the 3rd, virtually committing thievery as what we are getting for that late 3rd pick is the equivalent of trading that pick for Michael Oher. Fox will become a starter, he like Free can play either RT or LT. Fox + Free as our starting tackles adds alot of mobility and athleticism that our oline has not seen in a long time if ever.
Hope to be welcoming you to the 'boys Jason, you will be a steal in the 3rd round like no other sir.

lol, didn't you say the same thing about Antrel Rolle? and the numerous other free agents and potential draft picks?

I really have two that are realistic. The first is Rodger Saffold. The guy will be one of the best if not the best OT in this draft 3 or 4 years down the road.
My second is a little surprising. To be honest I'm not a huge fan of the guy but honestly believe he will be as good if not better then Rolando (sorry Hos) and that would be Brandon Spikes.

no?
I said Antrel Rolle was more of a playmaker than Hamlin, no where near worth what he got.
I said Atogwe is better than hamlin in everyway.
and I said Gaither was worth the 27th pick in the draft since he is so young and he is proven.
I didn't want any other free agents, and Fox has been my pet-cat in this draft since September.

It's actually not a terrible choice, there is just so much injury and health wise about the guy that scares me. In the late 3rd or 4th it's a safe pick but any earlier then that you really taking a risk. He could be a 10 year starter or a 10 day mash unit.

but if he overcomes the health issues it will be the biggest steal in the draft barring some random player deciding to become really good, ala; Brady.
if Fox never had those issues, and was as dominant this year as he was in previous years, he would be in a debate with Okung for top tackle in the draft( I don't count Campbell as a tackle, I like to just call him a "aldavisgreatplayer" because he will amount to nothing in the NFL, as said on multiple draft websites and webshows "He has top 3 athleticism, bottom 5th round talent".)

Seriously, I do believe this guy will be the name people mention from this draft down the road trying to figure out how the hell he got by so many teams.

I hate the 40 with a passion find it useless (mainly because I only run a 4.8) but if McCluster is suppose to be a speed guy and ran a 4.55 how does that make sense?

lol, I think he just had a bad day. He's a legit 4.3 guy IMO. You're a Shipley guy, right? He ran a 4.57....

Shipley isnt a speed guy, he is a I can catch anything and make a play when you need me most guy.
McCluster is suppose to be I run faster than a car guy, which a late 4.5 is not that fast.

sure he is, many on here thought he was. He got timed running a 4.37. Mccluster just had an off day. His pro day will be better. Book it. Look at his game tape man. Just watch the Okl State game. He played faster then a 4.57. Or even watch the Tennessee game.

We'll see, getting a RB is not in my tastes
I was ****ting on Marion as everyone was but I went back and watched some stuff from 07 and 08, if it really was just injuries holding him back this year we will miss out by letting him go.
Give him another year. everyone seems to be forgetting how great he was.

sorry the Catch it be Iupati - I not real high on Thomas
Thomas
Weaknesses:
Occasionally gets out of control; goes for big hit
Smaller player - will his body hold up in pros?
Late in run diagnosage
Will have limitations in run support at next level
Summary: Earl Thomas is the kind of football player you just love to watch on tape. You fall in love with his speed, athleticism and instincts, but some teams might be scared of his small frame, which really seems to be the only thing holding him back from being a top-10 draft pick. Thomas projects as a free safety in the NFL and seems to be too good to fall out of the top 25 picks.

Gotta agree, I've been pimping Pouncey lately, but only because I thnk Iupati will be gone by #27. But some of Iupati's hype has died down and he may actually be there when we pick.

Well I could say Okung, Suh, Berry or others that we have absolutely no shot of getting.
But I will try and be more realistic and Say Iupati or Earl Thomas.

I know offensive line isn't flashy or sexy, but you can't win without a good one. And ours is overrated IMO, and getting old.
I'd love to get a mauler to anchor the interior of our line for the next 10 years.

I have a lot of them. Rolando McClain. Perhaps the Crohn's Disease stuff will push him down to us. I'd love that. It probably won't though.
Mike Iupati. I think we need a LG immediately. More than we need a OT. I think he is a 6 or 7 time Pro Bowl caliber OG.

Rolando McClain, he may fall now due to disease, hamstring injury or Brandon Spikes
Mike Iupati OG Jason Fox, Ducasse, Jared Veldheer.
Linval Joseph or Clifton Geathers
Dexter McCluster
WR Kelton Tindal
Dorin Dickerson
RODGER SAFFOLD or Marshall Newhouse
