The Cardinals will host free agent K Jay Feely this weekend.
Feely can make clutch kicks and would be a terrific fantasy bet out in the desert, so we should like the fit. Neil Rackers seems likely to move on.Source: FOX Sports.com

I would hope the Cowboys are still not messed up over Vanderjack and would consider a decent veteran kicker.

...how things change.
He's getting up there in years, but its not like he has not performed. Last year wasn't bad for him, but nothing like his pro bowl 2005 year.
His kickoffs are not where they should be, but he may be a better FG than Buehler at this stage. Might be a tad expensive.

yeah we better not let it get out to hostile that the cowboys might draft a kicker or sign one like rackers, he might go off the deep end, you know how hostile feels about kickers. :starspin

I have a feeling that Rackers just aquired Mike Vanderjagt Syndrome.
I'd pass.

Reading the tea leaves, I get the impression that JJ is not going to spend big money on a kicker - at least this season.
The team is hoping Buehler can fill the role or Hughes (sp?).
Worst case scenario, they may look at a guy like Stover in August if things are not going well.
