Why would Cleveland give a second and third in a deep draft for a low one, when they need everything?

I actually have the same trade(except we get 2, 3 and 5) with Cleveland as they might want Colt McCoy to back up Plummer

I don't see any way AOA lasts until the back of round three.

People drop every year.

You are definitely right, but it is difficult to predict WHICH players are going to drop. If AOA's "consensus value" (if there is such a thing) is in the 2nd round, I wouldn't project him to drop to the back of three.

Even a very high 2nd and 3rd is still too much to give up for the 27th pick...let alone that extra 5th rounder. A 2,4 and 5 may do it.

Furthermore, why on earth would they trade all the way up to the 27th slot for player that will very likely be there with the 6th pick in Rd2? I guess if the Redskins don't grab a QB in Rd1, the Browns better move ahead of them in Rd 2 (one slot up) if they want Colt...because he could go to Washington in Rd 2.

Guys who you don't expect to rise, do. There is no such thing as set in stone until the transaction is actually made.
