Lets narrow this down!
Can someone take the draft universe and sort it down:
To the following
1) Players that lived and grew up in New Jersey or Arkansas
2) Players that were son's of coaches
3) RB's that don't fumble
4) SEC day 2 prospects that would be reaches in Day 1
5) Players that are hurt and have played hurt
6) Day 2 positional players that specialize on Special Teams (do NOT limit that search to Division 1 players)

I understand 2-5... but why the request in #1?

I've narrowed it down to 1 guy. He's a bit of a tweener, too.
Of course, he's 5-7/270 and runs a 5.8 40. Problem?

Well... he isn't a tier 1 QB... but he sure is a tier 1 athlete...
Jones is a playmaker... a "football player"... some project him as a TE...
I live 14 miles from the Arkansas border and I've seen him play alot... he is one of the most exciting players in college football...
He will play somewhere...

Jones has superb size for sure. The question would be his ultimate position in the NFL.
I've been adamant that we won't go TE in Round 2. Jones could be a different story as he has TE size but WR skills. They've raved about his hands during Senior Bowl practices. He'll need polish before anything though.
I wouldn't mind drafting someone who will be able to get downfield and be a possession WR. Keyshawn kind of fills that role but he won't be around forever. Jones could be a #2 receiver who can physically dominate a CB and get the jump ball.
Round 2 may be early for him but then again it's early to presume. His size and skillset intrigues me however.

Perhaps he could be a Novacek type... a tweener playmaker...

Sounds like he's got the perfect measurables for a John Madden type announcer, but with more quickness. As a tweener, he's probably 'tween a 3rd down back 'tween a defensive end/announcer. I'd have to look at his burst of comments like "unabated to the quarterback, unabated, unabated, unabated." and "plantar facia":D

Man, I hope that's true... folks keep saying he projects to TE, but if he really runs a sub-4.5 second 40, I say he's plenty fast enough to play WR...
I see him as a much bigger Hines Ward...

Yep... he is 6-6 around 240... and not only fast... but elusive... great player...
Is a converted QB,
Its a total reach to pick him anywhere Day 1.
This is a classic JJ draft pick - so don't dismiss it.

well... he may be a round 3 for someone... but more than likely a 4-5...

I think Round 5 is where I'd put him.
