ESPN's Stat Boy replies to my email...

Yesterday during PTI the subject was "Greatest QB's in History"... Reali "corrected" Corny and Wilbon by saying that Staubach had won only 1 Superbowl while losing 2...

Now... knowing the proclivity for ESPN dogging our beloved team, I couldn't let this one go considering it was cold-hard fact that Roger won 2 Superbowls...

So I fired off this email...


Stat Boy screwed it up... he stated tonight on PTI that
Staubach had 1 Superbowl win and 2 Superbowl losses...

He may want to take a look at Superbowls VI and XII... that counts 2
victories for Staubach even using the new math...

Please correct this as we Cowboy fans have endured the nightly replaying
of "The Catch" enough on your network to last a lifetime...

Give props where props are due... STOP THE MADNESS...

P.S. Bob Hayes, Rayfield Wright and Cliff Harris being denied induction
into the NFL Hall of Fame makes the whole institution a joke...

WTG trickblue! Maybe he will mention that mistake today and correct it at the end of PTI but I doubt it, but that would be nice.

I was actually watching it but turned it off when whichever of the 2 had steve young on their top 5 of all time. And if it was based mostly on superbowl wins then young only had one and it took a nightmare 1st qtr by the cowboys in the championship game for him to get it.

I didn't see the end of PTI yesterday. But I think what stat boy meant was this. Tony said he wasn't sure if Staubach had won 1 or 2 SB MVP's when they were doing their list. So I think stat boy meant to say he won 1 MVP and not 2. But apparently he screwed up.

BTW...Did any of ya'll mention that "Around The Horn" SUX?
