anyone know a trick to save those pictures? Some of the ones on the DMN really got to me and I would like to save them. But it's flash based and I can't seem to.

Right click on the page (not picture) on any of the pages such as this one
http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/pt/slideshows/2010/03/pho_031610_txstadium/ and select view source or view page source. You will then see the path to the images.

you will need to add http://www.dallasnews.com in front of that for the full url
