QB- F/A, Draft, but we need one, I would only Hope Henson is the answer, but as for now we need a QB
WR- We need a true #1 more than anything on this team, I can't handle another year of just Glenn, Johnson, Morgan- 1st choice Mike Willaims
DT- We need a solid run stuffer to take pressure off of Glover and for yall that think that Glover can't play the 3-4 is plain ole stupid, he get double teamed all year, now he get 1 on 1 coverage because of blitz schemes, Glover would shine in the 3-4....
DE- only if we run 4-3 if not we need 2 LBs not 1..
LBs- 1 if we run 4-3, 2 if we run 3-4, Abraham, Hartwell, draft, their will be alot of options at that position with the #20 and in the 2nd round, plus F/As as well to fill this spot..
CB- must need, I like Frasier for some uncanny reason, but he's more of a nickle back though, but we need a major upgrade here....
ANd FS- please sign one, **** sign one please, move a nice big Cover CB to FS but this area must need to be address....
if I was the GM, I would try in build this team as so....or would be happy as a fan with a off- season such as so....
QB-Hasselback, if not give Henson a chance I guess..
WR-Mike Williams #11 or trade up for him, if Not Edwards at #11
DT- Ferguson, Ted Washington, big body please....
DE- Howard, Abraham
LB- Hartwell, #20 pick, 2nd round pick also.....
CB-F/A. I guess Lucas, thier will be at least 3 good one when F/A starts
FS-I think this position will be the hardest to fill, just not alot of options at FS than most positions, draft one, trade for 1 or move a CB to FS.....
As for the OL I think we can get a solid vet their and move FLo to RT and have Rogers, Tucker, Jacobs or someone that can play RG

A vet QB through FA yes, 'im tired of wasting our friggin piks on QB after QB after QB time to make up our friggin minds.
WR- not a dire need, but yes we coudl use an upgrade, Glenn and jhonson did grat when healty

;)Fo Shizzle. I know we can sign 5 solid vets, **** if we can sign Wiley for 4 mil a year we can get a nice young player who needs a place to shine cheaper and better, we need more playmakers.

Offense:
RG - FA
RT - FA
Back-up RB - FA
WR - Draft
Special Teams
Kicker - ????
Defense
FS - FA
RCB - FA
1 LB - FA
1 DT - FA
1 LB - Draft
1 DL - Draft
Yhea, o.k., 7 FAs sounds about right to me!
I'm hoping we pick up an extra 3rd by moving down and draft that kicker, Nugent! Everytime Cundiff attempts a FG attempt I cringe.

It's Cheaper to pick up a Backup RB in the draft. Just get one of the many injury risk players. We have decent depth at the position anyway.
As for RCB, we have enough prospects on the team. You won't find someone in FA that is going to come for less than a Huge Contract that can step in and beat out Hunter.
As for DL (If you mean NT), then I don't think you can draft a NT. They just don't have the size out of School. I do think you can draft Starting LBs though.

I am continually baffled by people that say a #1 WR is the top priority. With all the positions where we had seemingly no talent, it is completely ridiculous to put this on the top. Our top 2 WR's were the #1 overall and the #8 overall in their respective drafts. Now... are they getting older? yes, but they still have at least a couple of very serviceable years left in them (just look at what other WR are doing at there age- (J Smith, I Bruce, M. Harrison...), and we aren't good enough to spend top draft picks because we will need help there in two years. Now... we have no FS, only one CB, no NT, small LB's, only one DE, an extremely weak Right Oline, and no Vet QB assuming they feel Henson isn't ready. WR is a strength on this team, not a weakness.

Johnson and Glenn are both coming off major injuries that required surgery. If both come back healthy we could be okay as is, but what if they don't? ;)

Wasting our friggin picks after picks on QB!?!??!?!?!!?!?!? We've passed on so many QB's the past few years it disgusts me. Byron Leftwich anyone??
We spent a future 3rd rounder on a project. That doesnt mean anything, drafting a QB in the first round wouldnt hurt my feelings at all. We've gotta draft a QB eventually. Obviously if a 42 year old qb who has had a mediocre career at best, is going to start over Henson, that doesnt look good for Henson.

1.
1 is the number of QBs we've "wasted" a pick on in the last 13 drafts.

Key was only servicable at WR last year. He didn't get seperation from his coverage and only excellent accuracy by Vinny enabled the catches that he did end up getting. As for Glenn I still think he has good speed and hands but I don't think he can last a whole season. Morgan is our next best wideout but I don't think he can ever be a number one threat. At least he can back up Glenn when he gets hurt next year though.
My biggest concern however is not with our speed, but size at wideout. We only have one big body in the group (Key) and he is not a premiere possesion WR anymore. Getting someone else in to fill that role will help Henson just like Irvin helped Aikman. Aikman + Emitt does not an offense make.
WR is a need on our team, as are the other number of positions mentioned, but I don't think it's wise to say that our D was worse than our O last year so we should just draft D. Both were pretty bad and both need talent.
