Can you imagine making 2.2 MILLION DOLLARS !! for 132 carries, 432 yards (3.27 ypc) and 4 touchdowns.

$ 2.2 million !!

Unbelievable!
That's what Eddie George did.
Seems we could have found a better way to spend 2.2 Mill.

George was quoted, ... ''I just really wasn't one of (Bill Parcells') guys and he really wasn't working with me, and that's fine. I just wish I would have known that prior to going down there. . . . I had to realize where I was at, who I was with and pretty much they didn't owe me anything. They couldn't care less about my accomplishments, which is OK. That is his program and I understood that.''

Maybe something a little more than 3.27 ypc would have made you one of Bill's guys !

I have always liked EG, he is a class guy, but to insinuate he didn't do well because Parcells didn't "like" him is ridiculous.

Dude, remember these are pro athletes. You will NEVER hear one say "I really screwed the pooch last year. I was awful. Good thing I wasn't cut because I sure didn't deserve that paycheck."

They will always have some kind of excuse even if they have to root around in their butt to find one.

dallas saw 8-man fronts pretty much all year. eddie has no burst. he's a plodder and might do a little better with a team that can ALSO run right, AND threatens more in the passing attack. that just wasn't anything the cowboys could consistently do. if george wants to continue to play he better get used to the idea of a substantially smaller paycheck.
