IMO we are all about to see a new Parcells. Yeah the same Parcells, but a new Parcells. I think he is one pissed off son-of- a -batch. I actually think he got to comfortable last year, but this year, oh boy look out.

Heads have just started to roll at Valley Ranch, but I do not think anyone has seen nothing yet. This is going to be one interesting off-season, and Training Camp.

Parcells talked in the past about how he was down to his last chance with the Giants in his first year or two. He then realized if he was going out, he was going out his way. He got much more aggressive in everything he did, and the next thing you know they are competing for, and winning Super Bowls.

I truly believe Parcells feels he is right back at that place with his back against the wall. I think he feels cornered, and the only way out is an all out brawl.

Many people get in that position, and you want nothing to do with them because they will just fold up, but that is not in his nature. As a matter of fact I think that is when he is at his best.

Get ready folks, because it will get interesting between now, and 2006.

There will be a wrath at Valley Ranch!

I'll call him up and tell him to take a Geritol and cut down on the Viagra.

Just kidding. You may very well be right.

The only thing I wonder about this "New, Tough Bill" is, how much tougher can he be? At least two players that we know of (Newman and Campbell) have already said that last years camp can't get much tougher. He won't let the coaches even have enough time off to go to an hour-long Christmas party. He was angrier with the media this year than last.

Unless there are some kind of front-office concessions he made that he plans to take back, I wonder how much "being tougher" will help. He just needs some new, fresh players more than he needs to be even more of an SOB.

Thank God because something needs to be done. Fire coaches, trade/release players, motivate player, etc. it doesn't matter what it takes but lets get back to our winning traditions again. I'm all for a tough as nails coach kick *** and getting the guys to believe they are the top dogs of the league again!

The wrath means very little unless there is enough legitimate depth on the field to threaten-- er, inspire starters to play better.

After the last several seasons...bring it on BP...do it your way! I think 2006 will show the fruits of his labors...and for many years after that if built right.

I really doubt that is going to matter. Either you want to work hard and play football, or you wanna be a one play ON / one play OFF kinda guy like Moss.

Bill will work ya, but Jerry will take care of ya. It's a win win situation for any player. Plus, it's still a perk to be considered one of the Cowboys.

I guess I look at it this way. If they are to scared to come to Dallas because they would rather take the easy way out, then I do not want you to be a Cowboy anyway.

Regardless, it all comes down to $ anyway.

Amen to that! I would not want it any other way.

If it gets interesting the Big Bill is doing OK.....If it gets real real interesting he's doing better than ok...........But if things get really really interesting then Bill is doing one heck of a job. Well Maybe!! I guess it would depend on what made it really really interesting. :)

Hopefully it doesn't make free agents wary of donning the revered star...Not having a quarterback is what's going to make free agents wary, if they want to be a contender. If it's all about the money, they can go somewhere else.

I really feel Parcells came into to evaluate the current Cowboys his first year. A 10-6 record bought the current batch some more time as Parcells hung with them to see if they could reduplicate a playoff appearance even though he knew this team wasn't talented.
It didn't make the playoffs and now Bill is going to head full steam with his plan.

I think that was the best and most cautious way. I think with a good draft and key free agent pickups, this team makes the playoffs next year. I said last year the Cowboys wouldn't be as good and wouldn't make the playoffs.

This year, barring injury, they take the next step.

I really want to believe all of this but part of me tells me that I may just be chasing an impossible dream.

Parity exists in the NFL, but I feel we're at least two years away from contending. We'll be having a new QB sooner or later that will have to gel with the team. Our defense is undersized and not the youngest. We lack a goto WR (unless you call Witten a WR).

Can Parcells last that long? It's up to him. I don't think there's an overnight cure for the bug that ails us though. He can ride them all he wants but if the talent isn't on the field, he'll be yelling at empty space.
