MMA is taking over and boxing is fading imo. Also, this should be Pac vs Mayweather but he was scared to take on Pac.

they will fight and Manny will lose. he won't be able to land any of that wild **** he usually throws on Mayweather. Floyd will force him to box and pick his ugly face apart.

Floyd made him look 38 years old. I've never seen Mosley look so tentative and nervous.

Like him or not, Floyd is a special talent.

He wasn't on his bicycle tonight. He was offensive, backed up Mosley, and hurt him on numerous occasions.

Floyd Mayweather is a perfect example of the sweet science of boxing. it may not be as exciting as you would like but I love to watch Mayweather cause he's an incredible boxer.

Pacquiao would put up a much better fight just because he would throw more than 30 punches a round. I still would favor Mayweather over Pacquiao.

Thought the fight would be better than it was. After the first two rounds, It was all Money.

At about round 6 or 7 I knew how this would end.

Glad I watched it for free.

He slips, slips, counters, then takes an occasional jab or cross with perfect aim and timing. Rinse repeat. It's boring for the most part but it's uber-effective.

Finally awake after last night. Went to watch the fight at a sports bar. My thoughts:

Before the fight I knew something was up with Mosley. He looked timid, was just sitting around not taking time to get warmed up. It almost looked like he was scared.

The first round started with both Mosley and Mayweather looking timid...shadow boxing in the middle of the ring, flinching, without throwing punches.

Second round, both fighters let loose and Mosley catches Mayweather clean twice and Mayweather is hurt, but Mosley fails to even really try to finish Mayweather off.

From then on, Mayweather gained his composure and used his superior boxing skills and defense to frustrate Mosley and outpoint him.

I wonder what was up with Mosley; after the second round, it look like he stopped trying to fight and spent the whole night flinching and not throwing punches. Then after round 5, it looked like he just got finished running a marathon and was out of breath. I've never seen that from Mosley; maybe the age monkey finally jumped on his back.

Regardless, it was a good win for Mayweather. He showed that he can survive from a big hit and still get the job done.

As for Mayweather/Pacquiao, I'm still up in the air with this one. I don't see Pacquiao tiring and not throwing punches like Mosley did. And if Pac ever hurts Mayweather like Mosley did in the second round, he knows how to finish the job. I just don't know if Mayweather's defense will allow it to happen. I cold easily see another 12 round unanimous decision for Mayweather.

Pac doesn't want them to do brujeria/voodoo on his sample, hence the hour after the fight reason...

That's how I feel.

I don't understand why Pacquiao won't take a test before the fight because a simple blood test won't "weaken you," but I think one after the fight is just as good.

The only thing surprising about this fight is that people actually paid to see it. Mosley has been on the down side of his career for a while now. Just shows how hard up people are for a real fight, unfortunately this had no shot at being that.

I saw on ESPN today that Manny has now said he'd agree to taking the testing 14 days prior to the fight. Previously he said it had to be no more than 21 days prior to the fight but he's apparently conceding a bit more now. Maybe that fight will happen after all and I agree I think Mayweather will likely beat him.

I got fed up with boxing and the people who run it to the point I just stopped watching it.

Last pay per view I saw was Douglas vs Tyson and thankfully Douglas knocked Tyson out because according to the judges’ score cards they had Tyson winning.

Do not know what fight they were watching or how much they were being paid to score it a certain way. When I have major doubts about the legitimacy of any sport I stop watching.
