Legally...

If you want it to be legal, then the iTunes store is your best bet. There is not much in the way of legal AND free if that is what you are after.

you pay for it so i guess you are covered on your end but i have watched movies not out yet with Russian/Korean etc. subtitles so don't know if its legal on their end

dont know about syncing, that would have to be on the windows media player side but we play the movies on windows media
