For those of you that have been around this place long enough - you will know that Cbz's pea salad is Superbowl tradition.
It's as important to this weekend as the halftime show, the new commercials, all of it.
I encourage everyone to make some of cbz's pea salad.
You don't have to eat it, but just like hanging stockings at Christmas, you have to have pea salad come Supebowl sunday. It HAS to at least be present.
I am moving to make this the official Superbowl feast of this board.
Thanks Pops for a great recipe and a GREAT board tradition.
I'll have my pea salad with NY style pizza, chicken wings and Heineken.
Enjoy the game everyone!

They're not quite a true "chocolate" flavor so he probably wouldn't like them.
You should try one yourself first. We've nicknamed them "Najah" cones... I'm really not sure why. You may call them "Blade buddies" also!

I usually throw a big Superbowl party every year but this year only a few friends are dropping by - people are real strange about watching the Superbowl at home in their own environment when their team is playing, and I live in the Philly 'burbs.
As for food, we're having hoagies from a local place. They're the best hoagies you can get outside of South Philly - just incredible.
For those of you who are local, the place is: http://www.villageofskippack.com/skippackvillageitalianmkt.html

Ya' know, it ain't half bad, especially if you substitute 1 cup of Jack Daniels for that cup of vinegar. Oh, and use Jalapeno cheese instead of sharp.
