former Pittsburgh Steeler backup QB Mike Kruczek continued the great tradition of 70's Steelers being voted to the HOF...Kruczek edged out former Cowboy starter Troy Aikman, Aikman failed to make the HOF for the 5th straight yr, losing out to the likes of great players like Kruczek, former Steeler QB Neil O'Donnell and former Niner QB Steve Bono...
Michael Irvin was edged out for the 6th straight yr, this time seeing Niner WR Renaldo Nehemiah voted in.
Darren Woodson also failed to be elected for the 5th straight yr, as former Steelers backup Dick Conn got in by a shallow margin...former Steeler HC Chuck Troll was quoted as saying "I dont know where our teams of the 70's would have been without great backups like Kruczek and Konn, but I am hopefull the HOF will make up for snubbing Frenchy Fuqua next yr"
