This has pissed me off all day today. What made Steve Young such a shoo in? I mean this literally how long did he play in the NFL as a star player? I have no idea, was he making alot of noise before the start of the Cowboys dynasty? Michael Irvin is a HUGE part of the reason why Young only won one SB as well as a reason as why the Cowboys won three in four years. I heard some BS that Irvin had such great team around him, well last I checked the 49ers were a pretty good team to. What the hell were they nominated to play the Cowboys in the NFC championship game for so many years. I guess the only reason they got there was because of Steve young, no defense, no good receivers (rice sucked), and no running game. I dont have stats in front of me and if I am way off base feel free to call me out. Yeah they played different positions and Young had some nice numbers but Irvin was a consistent winner Young was not IMO. Hell they almost lost the 94 NFC champ. game after we tried to give it away. Well I am not over this at all but this post helped me channel some anger

That's pretty much what the majority in here feel. Young is definitely not worthy of his induction at this time. I'm not saying he should be left out of the Hall of Fame, but there are so many other players, Cowboy players, that are truly more worthy of induction.

Young shouldn't even be in the HOF. He had some phenom players around him and played in a QB-friendly system. He never would've won a SB if we hadn't given them one via gift-wrapped sealed and delivered.
Not saying Young wasn't a good player, but he's not even in the same category as Irvin.

I am not sure if you listen to the ticket in Dallas, I live in IN and listen online they just funny to me. Anyway I thought they brought up a good point about inducting these other two guys who played I don't know how long ago after they did not put in of the old players for a long time now they induct two? It's no doubt Irvin is a HOFamer and I alway thought that Cowboy bias thing was just a fluke, well now I am a firm believer. I will send a letter to each of the guys who voted as we all should. Has anybody seen SC? Has Young said anything about Irvin getting snubbed when he should have been in before him?

As much as there is an Anti-Cowboy sentiment, there is an equal Pro-49er sentiment. Want proof? How many times has ESPN showed "the catch"?

I love how they talk about this player or that player won X number of SBs so they should be in the HOF, then forget to even mention that Irvin was a HUGE part of Dallas' domination in the early 90s. F_ _ _ the Hall of Fame! Its a joke without a punchline as far as Im concearned. Another Cowboy gets snubbed by a corrupt system.

Im sick of all the biased opinions that are spewed through out the country via newspapers, radio and tv, all I hear about is how great the Steelers where in the 70s but they needed some pretty big miracles to beat what must of been mediocore Cowboy teams. They of just been some lucky mediocore teams without Hall of Famers coached by a lucky stiff who just got by. They talk about Bill B as one of the greatest coaches of all time and Landry isnt even mentioned. Someone was helping Dallas make the playoffs 16 years in a row! Bill B has a string of 2 years in a row in the playoffs and 3 of 4 in NE and suddenly he is the best ever? The media has to hype someone I guess. First it was Montana and Walsh, then Favre and Holmgren, now its time to overhype Bill B and Brady.

My prediciton for the Super Bowl is simple if its a close game they will be labeling it the greatest game ever. Gotta to keep the hype machine rolling!
