Rotten photography can make anyone look bad.
And that 'LA Look' is all fake to begin with.

She is almost 43 years old and has a lot of tread on those tires. You could tell from Dancing With The Stars she was starting to show her age.

I thought I remember hearing that she got her implants removed for health reasons?
Anywho, showing before/after pictures of someone in their 20s/40s and commenting that they are "getting old" and don't look as good as they use too, is kind of like being surprised when the sun rises and falls  .

It's rough on all of us, but especially cruel if you start out beautiful, like me or Bob.

Can you imagine just how attractive she would be today, had she lead a normal life?
That's a very pretty girl and if she didn't do all that crap and live like a hooker, she would be a beautiful 43 year old woman.

That second picture of her is downright nasty. She is butt-ugly now. Age has not been kind to her. I hope she saved a lot of money. She will need it.
This thread reminded me of when someone here posted a thread showing pictures of the actress in Top Gun 20-some years later. She looked horrible.

I have never thought she was pretty because of the tats and the overdone skank look, but that first picture shows she was actually quite beautiful. I would have never even known that was her. You could have asked me and I'd have never guessed.

Maybe. She might have been. And maybe she'd have aged horribly in a normal life and would look even worse. hard to say.
All that aside the age, tattoos, drugs, and plastic is not what makes her unattractive. She immediately became unattractive when sex tapes of her started popping up showing her off as a complete whore. I was never especially high on her, she just wasn't all that to me, but I did think she was pretty until all that sex tape stuff came out and then she became just downright ugly to me.
Though that probably puts me in the minority cause others probably find her more hot, like porn stars, for those reasons. But to me those sex tapes made her just like porn stars and I don't find them attractive at all either for the exact reasons. They have no self respect and will be complete whores for anyone and that to me can make the most physically attractive woman on earth absolutely horrifically ugly in my eyes.

Obviously not removed, but I think she did downsize from her Baywatch days.
The think about augmentation is that if you decide to totally reverse it years down the line, it'll look far, far worse than if you never had surgery. Not many women could handle it, especially those insecure enough to have had them put in in the first place.

Hep C is basically not a STD but acquired through IV drug abuse or blood-borne contact. So I think you'd be safe since she isn't a IVDA and you wouldn't be sharing needles with her.

It's somewhat rare, but the literature I've read says it can possibly indeed be spread through sexual activity. Certain types of sexual activity put you at more risk than others, however. I'm know I'm arguing with a Dr., but that's the what the lit I've read says.

Twenty years makes a huge difference for someone who has lived a life like she has versus someone that wasn't in the sun, didn't have ridiculous plastic surgery, etc.
I can look at pictures of myself from 20 years ago and see some aging, but not the kind of difference between her two pictures.
She looks really, really rough.

Actually, 20 years is pretty much rough on most folks.
The point is, most folks just don't look as good in their 40s as they did in their 20s.
As someone pointed out, you can find a "bad" photo of just about any celebrity out there.
I've never been a Pamela Anderson fan, just wasn't something I liked but I am not surprised she doesn't look as good as she did 20 years ago and I think that is sort of a no brainer.

Like I said, basically not a STD. There are some cases that are mysterious in the mode of transmission and barriers should be worn when involved with an affected individual but the risk is almost certainly quite small. This is very different than other STDs. HepB is the viral hepatitis that is sexually transmitted but there is a vaccine for that one now.
Almost all individuals who I've treated who have HepC are/were IVDAs who had shared needles. There are a few who caught it from transfusions back in the day but that was about 20 years ago before it was screened.

I think that is the biggest issue in her case - she has spent way too much time in the sun.

The sun doesn't distort your face and body and give you hepatitis.
Plastic surgery and filthy living do.

It does make your skin look like leather, though.
I have a friend that was so beautiful 20 years ago. She was a sun worshiper, big time.
She's still pretty now, but she looks maybe 10 years older than she is because she is so wrinkled from the sun. You would never guess that there's only 3 years difference between us.

I know, people who go crazy tanning look good and awful after a while.
I live near the coast and the beach and I see a lot of leather heads, unfortunately. I'm surprised people still do it.
But in the case of Pam Anderson, the sun didn't ruin her. It may have helped, but she did that to herself. Lips, breasts, face yanked back a mile; she could have spent her time under an umbrella and she'd still look awful. Just pale and awful.

It's amazing that woman's skin withstood that to that point. Some people seem to get skin cancer from just a day in the sun.

My mother-in-law had skin cancer in the inner corner of her eyes and had to have a bit of skin removed on each side and covered with a skin graft.
They said that she probably did the damage as a young child and was just seeing it 60-some years later.

That's a very odd place to get such a thing, I wonder if you can blame the sun for that one. I hope her vision wasn't impaired.

No, her vision was fine. It was just a dry patch of skin right there outside the corner, and no creams or ointments would fix it. She finally decided to see her dermatologist about it and found that it was cancer.
Her dermatologist said that it was definitely from the sun, though.
