It's a fun little offseason gig. They're not sending you a placque with the words "Worst Poster" on it. Someone suggested it, and nobody had an issue. I agree it kind of runs away from the whole 'fun morale boosting awards', so if the mods want to delete it I guess I agree.

Back in my softball days, we had the "oil can" award. The worst player (of the game) was given a Foster "oil can" sized beer in a special cooler. Once he received the award that week it was up to him to bring a new oil can (in the special cooler) to the game the next week and award the prize to the worst player again for that game.

So even if you had a bad day, you got a prize...So maybe this is like that :)
