You said you liked baseball, do you have favorite team? Not really. I liked Nolan Ryan and rooted for whomever he was playing for. So I still root for the Rangers since he is involved. I also root for the D-backs.
It's a fantastic game that I love going to live.

Cool deal. Yeah I love going to games live, I just love the game. Regardless of the level of play, be it high school, college, minors, or pro. If someone invites me I gladly go.
I'd rather watch paint dry then baseball, good fun to play but completely unwatchable for me

I am an Astros fan. I havent really watched them this year. Last year was brutal. I miss Bags and Biggio. I am glad to see Bagwell as the new hitting coach. I am also glad to see that Oswalt and Berkman were traded to serious contenders.
I wish they would go back to the old uniforms, with the rainbow on the shoulders and the blue star on the torso (please don't confuse this with the horrid uniforms they wore during the Bad News Bears movie). I like the blue cap with the orange star and the white H.
and yes, aside from team USA, soccer sucks

True enough. :p: Usually, the GEICO/announcer commercials hit them out of the ballpark (pun intended). Here are a few good examples:

cause it's extremely difficult to score that many runs before getting an out. Soccer fans wouldn't care cause they're just flat out stupid when it comes to real sports.

But you aren't "callin it like it is." You are assuming soccer fans like/appriciate no other sport than soccer. Given that this website is dedicated to a completely different sport, your assumption is completely wrong.
I can appriciate how rare a feat like this is and how amazing it must've been to watch for Rockies fans, but to call it extremely difficult is a gross overstatement. You can replace difficult with rare, because it is extremely rare to see such poor pitching and managing from one of the worst bullpens in the MLB combined with great hitting in a ballpark that is extremely kind to hitters create so many runs in such a short span.

why, cause they don't run around for 90+ minutes with only 1 maybe 2 times that are actually worth acknowledging during the whole game or "match"? maybe if baseball fans acting like a bunch of morons who blow airhorns for no reason all game it would be more entertaining.....

really can't be bothered going through all this again so the only comment i'll rise to is the one about the horns. is the behaviour/habits of south african soccer fans a more accurate representation of all soccer fans than eagles fans are of american football fans as a whole?
now going to just leave it as football bores you and baseball bores me but since i don't watch baseball and i assume you dont watch football we should be happy enough.
ps not seen the video as i'm in work but it sounds an impressive feat that i'll probably watch later as i enjoy seeing things like that.
oh go on then i'll rise to another one. no wonder you find soccer fans argumentative with comments like
Soccer fans wouldn't care cause they're just flat out stupid when it comes to real sports.

I fell asleep once the debate started over whether one of the balls went over the fence or not. :D
I just find it hard to enjoy a sport where 75% of the players on the field can do absolutely nothing during a supposedly ultra-exciting moment.

Football guys are in shape too, if you play at an elite level. It is a different shape.
I guarantee though that if the USA won the world cup, many here who have been against the sport would create new profiles and be huge fans of the game.
Just like hockey, Americans hate it until they win, then they love it.

OLE OLE OLE OLE!!!
I grew up with football (soccer) not NFL football, but my love for the sport has grown. American Football is no doubt one of the most exciting games, even a 0 - 0 deadlock has its beauty.
Now its pointless to argue over which is better. You can't tear old roots. And no point in changing someone's mind. The person to have around is the one that wont always agree, because as much as it may bother you, thats the most honest person you'll have.
As for me, I love Football and Football. :star:
