OXNARD, Calif. -- The Cowboys didn't have helmets or shoulder pads during Monday's walkthrough practice. Tuesday is a two-a-day.
Here's the highlights:
*Before practice Miles Austin (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=10147) and Dez Bryant (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=13215) were working out with wide receivers coach Ray Sherman. Bryant also had a little chat with Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.
*Scott Sicko (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=13713), Alex Barron (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=8434), Martin Rucker (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11345) and Mike Hamlin (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=12663) returned to practice. Rucker is a newly signed tight end who was fighting a hamstring problem.
*Mike Hamlin got first-team reps at safety with Sensabaugh out. Sean Lee (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=13284) was on the first-team at inside linebacker in place of Keith Brooking.
*Alex Barron and Robert Brewster (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=12634) switched at the right and left tackle spots on Monday. Brewster started with the first-team followed by Barron. Sam Young (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=13496) received second-team reps at right tackle.
