I would love to get Williams, but I don't see it happening since we have so many other needs to address first, ... plust teams ahead of us want him too.

It's a big day for Williams. If he can squeeze out a sub 4.5, he'll be on track to go to the Bears. If he runs a 4.55-4.6, Edwards is likely the pick.
Funny how a tenth of a second can make such a difference.

He better have a good workout. He's only had 14 months to work on his 40 time.

That also brings about the question of his ability to come in and play football right away. Essentially he's become a guy training for track over the last year. He hasn't been tackled by an opposing defender. There will certainly be some rust, and combine that with the transition from college to NFL and it isn't a lock that he contributes right away. He certainly has a lot of upside, though.

At first, I was opposed to drafting MW with the 11th pick thinking we needed defensive players bigtime. Now, I would probably jump up and down if we did. Under the current state of the team, we don't have the ability to picky. We pretty much have only two young playmakers on both sides of the ball.

Just like how nobody could stop Manning, Harrison, James, Wayne, and Stoakley?
