Two Redskins sources who reviewed his game film said he was “awful” in last weeks final preseason game.
Game film, which is called coaching tape, or “all-22” by NFL personnel evaluators, gives the viewer the chance to see the entire field, so it’s very easy to tell if a player if giving effort or not.
Also noted that Haynesworth failed to adhere to the principles of the new 3-4 scheme.
Sources indicate he may be benched for the opener.
PS. I believe he will ride the pine until the second half. Sort of like college coaches do to their star athletes who break a team rule, sleep the the cheerleaders, drunk in public, etc. etc.
