I'm not greatly for or against bringing Bledsoe to Dallas.

But if not Bledsoe, who then will be our QB this season.

We are running out of other options.

The options are slim. Signing Hasslebeck is best case scenario and the least likely to boot. Who else is there? Kitna doesn't strike fear into anyone.

It's either start Henson or sign Bledsoe. You gotta' make due with what you're given.

I'd rather have Brad Johnson.

Parcells has said repeatedly that you make moves when availability meets need.

Obviously, Dallas has a huge need at QB. Maybe Henson will fill it, but if he doesn't, there is real trouble.

See, QBs - good ones - don't come available very often. You can always find a lot of the Vinny types, but it's hard to find someone who gives you a real shot to win. I think that I have a higher opinion of Bledsoe than many apparently because I think he's better than most QBs that become available. I say that only because I have faith in Bill's ability to get the most out of someone like him. He'll give him protection and play to his strengths. I just think the Cowboys will be better for it.

And, in the meantime, while the Boys are winning, Drew Henson will be learning, watching, practicing, and maybe even playing now and then. It's a win-win.

I just think Bill doesn't believe that he can win with Henson yet...and I think he would know better than the rest of us.

Not a bad option. Is he what 36, thats 3 years older than Bledsoe?

Bledsoe, Romo and Henson is my bet

I'd rather have Bledsoe, at least he still has a good arm. Johnson never had a good arm.

It's either start Henson or sign Bledsoe.I'd do both.

If it becomes clear a couple of games into the season that Drew just plain can't handle it, at least we'll have an average-to-good QB (depending on the day) waiting in the wings.

That's what I'm saying, I think Bledsoe is our best option right now.

Henson = not ready
Brees = not happening
Vinny = not interested

Bledsoe - Like someone said earlier in this post, Parcells will put him in the best possible situation to win.

But Bledsoe can't move and he refuses to check off... not to mention his accuracy has never been great.

But Bledsoe can't move and he refuses to check off... not to mention his accuracy has never been great.You're reaching for excuses to hate Bledsoe now Mikey. Bledsoe is a Pro...he knows what to do with the football as far as throwing it. If he has a weakness it is his lack of mobility, but when it comes to throwing the ball he is about as good as they get. There is a reason that he is so high up on the all-time passing charts and it is not just because of the 11 years in the league; just as there is a reason that he was a starter for all of those years (discounting injury related issues).

And for old times sake I just wanted to mention that...He has played in three different systems in three years.
