What are Neftali Feliz chances at AL Rookie of the Year?

I think they have to be pretty good. The guy is one save away from tying the rookie all-time save record (has 36, record is 37) with 19 games to go. He could easily smash the record recording 40+ saves. (currently projected to get 41)

There are other candidates out there, (Mainly Austin Jackson) but I don't think there is any question that if Feliz breaks the record he deserves the most consideration. If he smashes it, I think he would be the clear cut winner.

His WHIP is sub 1 at .94. (Walks + Hits / Innings Pitched) Currently tied for 3rd in the AL in saves, and tied for 5th in all of baseball. He has over 1 strikeout per inning pitched. (1.06) His strikeout to walk ratio is 4/1. He averages 9.6 strikeouts per 9 innings. He averages 2.47 walks per 9 innings. He is 36 out of 39 save chances. His ERA is 3.05. (He was complacent when it wasn't a save opportunity until Washington got on to him)

You know who is gonna win it! :)
