Playbook breaks down Barron, Miles and the Skins D (http:// sblog.blogspot.com/2010/09/playbook-breaks-down-barron-miles-and.html)
The only thing that is going to make you smile in here is how good Miles Austin really has become...

Got to say ... As a Redskin fan I really dismissed Miles Austin as a flash in the pan but watching him on Sunday he really can bring it . Over the middle he is fearless and strong after the catch and as pointed out he runs fantastic routes . And his hands and awareness man . 10 catches out of 10 passes - that is almost unheard of .

I saw all I needed to see out of Austin last year. He made virtually any kind of play you'd want to see a #1 WR make. He could beat you over the top and run through a defender. Some tried to make the feeble argument that things would be different when he started to see the brunt of a team's game planning. But realistically after about the first two weeks of him dominating, I have a hard time believing the scheming against Austin didn't start.

+1. I had no doubt that Austin was legit and not a "1 year wonder". He's the total package.

Miles is a beast. Hopefully we can get our true RT back so that lazy SOB doesn't get to play another snap.

1 year wonders at WR are pretty rare unless they get a new QB or they get injured. I can't think of many like that outside of Tampa's Michael Clayton.
While I've been wrong on more players than I care to remember, I was high on Miles from the beginning and thought he had #1 WR potential someday. He's a big WR who has great speed. I remember in 2008 he started to show that he had pretty good hands, but he injured his hamstring and that sidetracked him a bit.
He's tough because if you press him he's strong enough and fast enough to blow right by you. If you play him soft, he can hit that 15 yard comeback route and that's practically unstoppable unless your roll a LB or corner into zone coverage. Then you basically have 3 guys protecting against 1 guy.

I really like Mike Mayock (sp) Barron was worst than I though in that game. The skin defense gave us some looks that we were not expecting, the good thing is we play them twice and you only get one time to surprise us. Austin is Austin a baller, once we get some lineman back heathly we will be fine. The game has always and will always start up front.

As good as Austin is, Barron is equally bad.
I have zero confidence in that guy at this point. I didn't think he could be that bad.
I can't believe STL played him for so long.

Miles and apparently Dez too already, just know where Romo wants them and where the balls going. That's a very good thing from our top 2 WRs.

This is the key. Strong route running will keep a WR open down the field all day long.

This video just shows why I would rather play with a rookie RT than with Barron ever again.
