IRVING, TEXAS—Cowboys coach Wade Phillips is already looking past it. Offensive coordinator Jason Garrett already has taken responsibility for it. Now, the players know it's up to them to overcome it.
"You're still confident, and you still believe in what you're trying to do and what you've worked on all offseason," Cowboys tight end Jason Witten said Thursday. "I don't think you panic. You stay true to what your thoughts are and what your plan is."
"The best teams, the best players, the best organizations, they put it behind them, and they come out, narrow their focus and play the next game at the highest level that they can," Romo said. "That's how you win over time."
