Absolutely, but it's hard not to think it's getting overhyped. Hopefully it's as good as it looks.

I get the same feeling. That is just going to be a bomb or sorts. Maybe ok at best but nowhere near as good as they are trying to make it look.
Looking more forward to seeing the new season of Dexter but even that looks like it has bust potential if they put too much time on him fake moping over the death.

I've been looking forward to this one...
Lots of exceptional talent in this production. I hope it's as good as advertised...

The question should be "Who isn't going to watch Boardwalk Empire?"
The show looks awesome. Probably overhyped, but with that talent it'll atleast be worth watching.

I'm not just big into watching scheduled TV shows. I think the only scheduled shows I've watched several episodes of would be may be 30-40 episodes of Family Guy over the life of the show and I've probably seen ten episodes of Entourage.
Tried to watch Weeds once, True Blood once, Deadwood once, saw two episodes of the Roman one that had Xena in it. I've probably seen two episodes of House too.

Looks interesting. The subject matter isn't usually my cup of tea, but I think I'll give it a shot this Sunday (or on DVR on Monday to be more accurate) before cancelling HBO now that True Blood is done.
I can't wait. I still need to set it up on the DVR so I don't miss any of it

Thanks for the reminder, I have to set up the DVR right now, or I will forget again.
I hope it is as good as the few promos that I saw for it.

I will now look forward this even more, to help with my dissapointment that seems to occur earlier each Sunday.

Agreed... Pilot episodes struggle many times trying to establish characters and stories. I thought they did an exceptional job and I look forward to next week. Buscemi was outstanding last night...
This show is likely to stop the True Blood viewers, like me, from canceling HBO until Curb Your Enthusiasm comes back...
Gotta remember to add Showtime this week for the Dexter premiere...

Exactly - they need to fill in the gap.

Very good first episode.
Jumped back and forth between Gians getting piped and the show.

Curb would be the last show I'd add HBO to see.

I agree. Curb is nothing but Seinfeld with adult language. Both just repeat the same old comedy routines over and over.
My wife was a fan from occasionally watching the show. She bought a DVD and watched four of the episodes and since then, it has never left the cabinet.

I've never watch a whole episode of Seinfeld. I can't get past more than 5 minutes.

I liked it. I'm not big on Buscemi, but the kid is good. I like the actor that plays Capone as well. Hopefully they keep Capone, Luciano and Rothstein in the story.

Didn't realize he was in Boardwalk. What role does he play?
