IRVING -- Dallas backup quarterback Jon Kitna will tell you how much he enjoyed playing in Mike Martz's offense, but it really isn't necessary. All anyone has to do is look at Kitna's career statistics.

"He'd attack the field and make the defense cover the whole field," Kitna said. "I loved playing for him."

Ware to play

Linebacker DeMarcus Ware was again limited in practice Friday, but Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said Ware will play on Sunday.

McCann returns

The Cowboys have re-signed former SMU cornerback Bryan McCann, who was waived after the preseason and signed by Baltimore.

Ratliff fined

Cowboys nose tackle Jay Ratliff confirmed he was fined by the league for an illegal hit on Donovan McNabb. The fine will be $5,000.

Rally Days

The Cowboys walk-through practice this morning and team photo at Cowboys Stadium will be open to the public as part of the team's "Rally Days."

Briefly

Parking lots will open at 8 a.m. before Sunday's noon game. Cowboys Stadium plazas and gates will open at 10 a.m.
