IRVING – Wade Phillips vows there will be changes.
What those changes entail, he won't say.
The players have their own opinions as to what is wrong. Their theories include too much hype, lax practice habits, lack of execution and suffocating expectations.
You name it. The Cowboys did. What you can't find is a consensus.

We have heard that before several times .Amazing it took them that long to see the team needs some changes?
As for the term (too much hype): it is nothing but a poor excuse trying to mask the real problem by blaming it on something outside the organization. They are poorly couched period.
Wade Phillips track record speaks for itself. A failure of this magnitude and subsequent recovery requires more than a promise to change. He does not inspire confidence in either his players or coaches. It is highly probable that rest of the season will offer more of the same :inconsistency punctuated by brief periods of success. The end result will be frustration bred by mediocrity
I blame no one but Jerry himself he created this mess

Wade's not going to change a thing. So much air being blown out of Valley Ranch and it's all hot.
I blame Jerry for all this. And in between all his uh's and hmm's in an interview I heard of him yesterday he said the FO will have to be held accountable as well.
Sure Jerry. Whatever.

Oh for sure, use that iron when it's hot by all means. Now, tell Stephen that you now demand him to open up the ledger books for Dallas, for your own review.....:lmao2:

You have to believe Wade has been told, fix it or else. One more loss and Jerry is in "beyond embarrassment" ville.

Put an 88 on Bryant, angle for five practice games, rave about playing the first Super bowl game in the home stadium, scatter pre season preparation all across the country with excess flying time, separate the head coach from control over his coordinators, require that high priced players be given playing time whether they deserve it or not , run off at the mouth to the media at every opportunity and you might put some undue pressure on your team.
Wade Phillips is a good coach hog tied by Front Office interference. I applaud Jerry Jones for his enthusiasm, but he ate the cheese he was serving and it has been binding for the team's digestion.

Since when? Wade has always been a good Coordinator, there is a reason the guy didn't get many shots at HC around the league.
His "Good Ole Boy" routine would have working in his daddies age but not anymore. When you have discipline problems for 5 years and your getting paid millions, its time to adapt.
Good coaches adapt. Wade, a good DC should stick to what he is good at.
