CHRON: Texans WR Johnson day to day; TE Casey out

Texans coach Gary Kubiak said today that receiver Andre Johnson has a sprained ankle and is “day to day,” but they feel better about him now than they did after Sunday’s 30-27 overtime victory at Washington.

Johnson is expected to start against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Other than normal bumps and bruises suffered during a game, the Texans should be in good physical condition when they put their unbeaten 2-0 record on the line against the Cowboys.

Cowboys will have their work cut out on containing Johnson. I don't expect to shut Johnson down but we do need to limit him. I fully expect to see the safety giving help on containing Johnson.

Yeah, he's a monster. His name has to come up any time you are talking about who's the best WR nowadays.

Will be interesting to see how they try to do it. I just hope Austin turns out win the day in this one.
