He's to cheap to get Sunday Ticket. He's saving all his money to buy WG a ring, flowers, and a nice dinner.

You record directly from over-the-air broadcasts, right?

I would like to see the video of Dez being forced out of bounds and scoring a TD, yet a penalty being called.
That was BS. He was FORCED out.

Yep, better overall quality that way (cable compresses the video and audio).

According to Buck and Aikman, it doesn't matter if you are forced out by the defender. Were they right?

I agree. One of these days I'm gonna purchase one of those Hauppauge HD PVR converters and see how good my NFLST recordings will translate.

But, that is the rule. You can't be the first to touch the ball after coming back in. I cannot remember when that has ever happened in a game where the reciever is forced out of bounds but was able to come back in and catch a ball without being penalized.

Yes...IMO. Once out, you cannot be the first to touch the ball.

So why don't DBs just chuck guys out of bounds on every play? Maybe Bryant made the mistake of running his route too close to the sideline.

Doesn't matter in the NFL if you were forced out or not. If you go out of bounds, you can't be the 1st to touch the ball.
It is different in college, if you are forced out in college, you can come back and be the 1st to touch, but ONLY if you are forced out.
The refs got it right.

I don't think it matters.
The only time it would matter is on special teams where you have to get back in as quick as possible. Other than that if you go out of bounds, whether by your own power or someone elses on offense, you can't be the first to touch the ball.

As long as the WR is within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage, why not knock them out of bounds every play?

Because the reciever, if his technique is right, won't line up that close to the sideline, and also, the reciever has a say in that too! He's trying to get free, maybe break inside away from the sideline.
It's not that simple of a thing to do, or we would see that all the time.
