Was about to make a thread on it. Wondering what the Packers do that makes Jay Cutler revert back to his old ways. And the pressure they are creating is crazy.

Aaron Rodgers continues to impress...

I remember when he was the only guy left in the green room... 49ers should have grabbed him with the first pick instead of Alex Smith (though he has looked better this season.)

Yep. Just as I thought. Cutler hasn't changed a bit. He's still the same, throw it into double coverage and high turnover machine that he was last year.

Man how are we going to stop the packers and their offense especially there super star tightend. They have it all Wr that can beat you, a super athletic tight end, Arron Rogers who can move and break tackles, and Capers got that defense looking scary with the type of pressure and different blitz packages they present.

Honestly I think we should allow just ware, spencer, ratliff and who ever is our other best passrusher is to just rush with a couple of unique well disguisted blitz's mixed with man and zone defense.

Oh and Mike Jenkins need to work on form tackling. He looks like Asuante Samuel out there missing all types of tackles.

I know some of the fans here think Cowboys might have 3 best WRs in NFL, but beg to differ. On whole, I think Packers might have the best 3 or 4 WRs. They fit there scheme too, quick and fast guys, who can get open quickly for short throws and take it to distance.

The packers have the more consistent receivers (mainly do to Miles drops and never knowing what Roy is going to give), but I still think we have the best overall based off of what they can do.

I'll take Romo. Twice on Sundays and Mondays. Aaron Rodgers gets all this hype and love but Tony Romo has done what Aaron Rodgers has done and more and does not get the type of love and recognition Rodgers get. Even in madden...lol...Rodgers a 95 and Romo is a 90(first time ever being a 90 in madden by the way). IN between Rodgers love, I just don't get how Phillip Rivers overlooked that much? I hate Phillips antics sometimes, but guy is a really a SB away from being top 3 QB. But Phillips has won some playoff games. As pure QB, I think Phillip is more than a notch above Rodgers and probably a notch above Romo ( and I am a guy who thought of the three QBs Eli/Ben/Phillips, thought Phillips has the least chance in succeeding in NFL when they were drafted).

I think Romo gets dissed because he is a Cowboys QB. Phillips because not many care about San Diego.

I have NFL Ticket and watch pretty much most NFL shows. So with all Due respect, you don't know jack. Rivers never got the hype or praise that Rodgers gets, without ever accomplishing anything. Rodgers team made playoffs once and lost, yet he is getting talked about as if he is top 3-4 qbs.

Second, Rivers has plenty on Romo, including playoff wins. So take off that homer hat and watch the darn games. Romo is good/great, cowboys fans don't appreciate him enough, but lets not get carried away. Its like some cowboys fans tend think Romo is as good as Peyton or Brady. He is not there yet. He is getting there and only a SB win will get him the accolades he deserves.

That stat is deceiving. His passes were off target, hence the 2 ints. The receivers were having to adjust too much to short passes thrown behind them. The Romo of yesterday would have carved up the Bears D. He wasn't himself during that game against the Bears.

They're over aggressive on both ends of the ball. Hopefully we take advantage of that.

Between kicks and punts he had plenty of chances over the last two years and didn't produce like he did when he first came to the league.

He's still good but he's no longer the best.
im telling you they havent kicked to him or they used someone else. 7 kick return and only 24 punt in '09 compared to 43 and 42 in '07

And in 08?

There's no way to say his production on a per kick basis hasn't gone down.

Sure, he doesn't get as many as he used to but even with 24 punts, the Hester of old would have taken at least 1 to the house.

He was scoring like every 12th return on punts. Then he went like 50+ punts without a score.

yeah its gone down, but i would never expect it to stay that high anyway, his production was unreal. i think '08 is when they moved him to WR right? and if i remember he got banged up some in his new position and was focusing more on learning to be a WR.

PR/KR is always a position where no one stays at the top for long, but the dude, when kicked to, is the most dangerous in the game period imo. i would rather kick to jackson than hestor

I hate PI calls like that one. They completely bail out the offense for a pathetic pass that was way under thrown. It is almost impossible for the defender to stop from a full run in that situation. Plus he was even looking back for the ball. Glad the Packers are going to lose though.

Its not the deciding the game part that bugs me, it is the rewarding the offense for piss poor play. That throw was so far off it wasnt funny and they get bailed out by contact that is impossible for a defender to avoid.

the falcons and saints are probably the class of the nfc right now.... the falcons took the steelers to overtime and beat the saints in new orleans. The Steelers defense has been dominant but the falcons were able to put up some points against them.

But if the cowboys play up to their potential and play with a sense of urgency every week, i'm not too worried.

No they aren't. There is no class of any conference right now. Give it til the end of October early November to determine that and then there is still the playoffs. There is nothing there after 3 weeks.

This year Chicago might win a good number of games .(In spite of cutler) Mike Martz offenses always pass happy and scores points in a hurry. They have a good running back and a very good defense. So if they restrict the other teams below 20 , they can win a number of games, IMO.

Looks like wildcard races are going to be tough this year. Hope the boys revival is good and they continue in the right direction , I am still sticking to my prediction ( 11-5 or worst case 10-6 ) :)

This dude is being put in the same class as SB MVP qbs like Brees, Manning, and Brady after a penalty plagued performance by his team.

They are just in love with this guy right now.

ESPN would be shouting from the rooftops about how overrated the cowboys are, hell that tool wilbon did it after week 1 vs washington.
