Here is what I found comparing scores of quarterbacks in my data: Take your base 820 points (which you essentially get for bubbling in your name) and then add 11 points for each question correctly answered on your Wonderlic test. ~Mac

The Wonderlic is a good test of general knowledge; however, it does have a drawback in that you can study for it and knowing the questions in advance really helps your score.

These days, the interpretation of the psychological tests are more important because they help in determining a player's motivation. They are looking for guys whose major motivation is playing on a championship team rather than the ones who want the most money and are too self-centered to be a good player for NE, for example.

My guess would be that you take the guys who did well on the Wonderlic and look closely at their psychological test answers and select the best athletes from among those who scored well on both tests. For this to be successful, you need a really good psychologist who not only understands personalities, but brain-types as well. Remember when you were a kid and you were choosing up sides for a sandlot game, you just chose the fastest or the biggest? It don't work that way anymore.
