View Full Version : What if we land Moss and he pulls a "Bryant" with Parcells?

Once Antonio Bryant had words with Parcels about getting things his way (not to mention Bryant throwing his jersey in BP's face), it was not long until Parcells shipped Bryant off.

So what happens if we somehow land Randy Moss and he - in some way or another - insists on his way or does not see eye to eye with BP? Moss is the type of player to speak his mind and do his own do - as he has demonstrated time and again. And BP is not the coach who supposedly puts up with that. So if we do land Moss, I not only expect him to eventually get under BP's skin, I expect BP to find himself stuck between a raock and a hrad place given Moss pedigree at WR. Hmmmm, what would Parcells do?

There is zero percent chance Moss is brought to Dallas.

I would stay away from Moss, 1st off it would cost a lot of money and I don't think it would be wise to take a risk like that with so much money on the line. Only way I would do it is if their was some type of conduct clause in the contract to protect the team.

Personally, I think there is zero chance that Moss isn't a Viking next year. I'm sure the Vikes might field offers, but no one will be willing to meet the demands.

Dooms, I agree. I hope we stay away from Moss also. But but if by some slim chance we don't and bring him to Dallas? Do you think BP would then make an exception to his coaching style for Moss (meaning, he wouldn't let other players get away with their self-serving antics but would let Moss do so simply because of his talent)?

Moss will dominate wherever he goes (unless he's traded to a team with a weak-armed QB). You can complain about his antics, but they hardly interfere with the success of the team. He's done nothing even remotely similar to hosting a cocaine party with an ex-teammate and two women who are not his wife, for example.

AB had a good point about Keyshawn getting too many snaps, but on the flip side AB is borderline unstable. Moss's cost and pedigree would force any coach to get him into the gameplan.

It's not easy to keep feeding a WR unless the offense is a pass-heavy one. TO found the perfect fit with the right offensive coordinator in Philadelphia.
