Just saw this nippet on PFT
Albert Breer, formerly of the Boston Globe and now with NFL Network (congrats, by the way, Mr. Breer) reports that "no one is shooting this down (http://twitter.com/AlbertBreer/status/26505295669), when given the chance to" and "[s]omething's happening."
This guy is definitely a rising star in the sports media world. I don't know how he's gonna be on TV, but I love his print work.

That cat hitched his wagon to the right star. Seems like he was over at DMN last week, then to Sporting News, now to NFL Network.
Agreed about his print stuff. The kid is intelligent, knows the game, and is articulate with how he conveys the knowledge/opinion to the reader.

That cat is pulling his own wagon.

Hated when he left DMN. Of course I also hated his slanted Patriots view too! :laugh2:

Did you? Breer is the best Dallas-area writer we've had as far back as I can remember. Smart, fair, never sensational, and he really understood the game. He also knew what topics to cover to keep his work interesting without resorting to baiting our emotional brothers into yet another meaningless shark-attack.

 Not sure what you're implying. I said I was a fan of the guy, then you proceed to try and educate me about his talents. If I didn't think he was talented, I wouldn't have liked him

Sorry, that was in regards to hating his being slanted towards the Pats. It wasn't particularly aimed at your opinion, just me expounding on why I like the guy.
