IRVING, Texas - After getting replaced for part of Sunday's 34-27 loss to Tennessee, Leonard Davis will remain the Cowboys' starting right guard, head coach Wade Phillips said.

"The guy's a Pro Bowl player," Phillips said of Davis. "He had some trouble with the pass rush early, and Montrae's a good pass rush protector. We settled him down on the sideline, basically, and he went back in and I thought he played pretty good after that."

This is the problem with Wade, he should be calling him out. This guy has not been a Pro Bowl player performance wise in years.

This is weak and disappointing.

This is the problem with Wade, he should be calling him out. This guy has not been a Pro Bowl player performance wise in years.

You'd feel better if he called him out, but it would do nothing to help the team.
We have no idea what he actually says to or about Davis during the week. People need to stop thinking what a coach says to the press is what a coach says on the field. There's no connection.
