Gene Steratore's crew will work Sunday's game at Minnesota (http://topics.dallasnews.com/topic/Minnesota) and home teams are 3-1 with Steratore & Co. so far in 2010.

Last week Steratore worked the Green Bay-Washington game. The Packers had nine penalties for 63 yards and the Redskins had four penalties for 28 yards.

The breakdown:
Chop block - 1
Illegal contact - 2
False start - 3
Illegal block above the waist - 2
Offensive holding - 2
Illegal use of hands - 1
Defensive holding - 1
Defensive pass interference - 1

Well, the Cowboys can certainly improve on those false start, holding and PI numbers. They can also squeeze in an offsides or two.

Those numbers look really low, don't worry here comes Dallas.

Both the Cowboys and Vikings have committed far more penalties than their opponents have committed this season.

It will be interesting to see how the penalties break down Sunday. I'm guessing that we'll be flagged about twice as many times as they will be -- I'll say 11 to 6.

...yes...quite suspicious, especially given the fact McNabb threw the ball up 49 times!
