Some scouts have Claiborne falling out of the 1st, what the heck? is this guy high. If we cant get Robinson Luck or Locker tradedown, grab one of the elite 3-4 des, get another 2nd package our 2 2nds tradeup and grab DeMarcus Love.

14. Arizona Cardinals, Anthony Castonzo, T, Boston College
His last name is too close to Costanza not to take him.

Not one safety in the first round. well there goes THAT thought.

CB, OT,Safety, OG/C would be my first four picks. Now if there is a real good safety worthy of a second rd pick I would go there.

Note, dont forget to go look in draft section, I put some better mock draft in that draft section. Some pretty good stuff, year of QB, 7 round mock draft, etc....

And then our ILB's would still suck wind.

Claiborne will end up going late 5-7 if he gets drafted at all.

at #4, unless there is a franchise LT on the board, we'd likely go CB. Yes, we need OL but the first CB off the board is too important to pass up.

Corner.

Offensive line help will have to come at the top of the 2nd round.

Andrew Luck is going to be a big time Quarterback in the NFL. If we have any chance to get him, I'm all for it...

otherwise, move down and get multiple picks, we have alot of holes to fills

This seems to be a down year for safeties, but it sounds like Bob Sanders is done in Indy.

I say roll the dice on him if he comes available.

Claiborne not worth a 1st much less a 1st that early......if we pick that early it will have to be CB or Dline....maybe QB for future if one there you just cant pass on

I agree. Not high on ryan mallet though. Hopefully, if luck doesn't fall, we trade down because there is nothing that high that fits our major areas of weakness

Not a big believer in DBs high in the first round. If you can't go OT and won't go Qb, you gotta go for a pass rusher.

It's unheard of for a guard to be taken that high in the draft, they rarely even go in the top 15. If we have a top 5 pick, and there is either a stud CB, OT, or D-Lineman, we have to take them, if not, lets hope that one of the top QB's is there and we can trade down. Wow, draft talk and it isn't even November

If we have a worse record than the Carolina Panthers Kitna or not, I will have to move to another city.

Unless my calculations are wrong, if the season were to end today, we would draft 5th this season, not fourth. There are 3 teams with a 1-5 record, and we've had the hardest SOS (strength of schedule) of the three.

Likewise, the Steelers have had a harder SOS than NE, same issue there.

The War Room does some nice player analysis, but their drafts themselves leave something to be desired. I don't think they take their drafts very seriously.

Drafting a Guard 4th overall? A guard that won't go anywhere near the first round. That may be the worst mock I have ever seen and that includes all of Hos' mocks. ;)

I'd take

Ryan Williams before MI

Akeem Ayers to take Spencers place

Stefen Wisniewski

Derek Sherrod

I smell a top 6 pick: 3-13 or 4-12

Andrew Luck QB
Patrick Peterson CB
Prince Amukamara CB
Nick Fairley DL

Jake Locker can't be ruled out.

Derek Sherrod OT

The CB for Nebraska could go before Peterson.

Fairley is rising fast.

Sherrod will rise, but Bunting says that he is a 20-25 guy. He's my favorite OT, because he is athletic and gets to the second level and can pass block. He can run block.

Luck is probably going number 1, but if Dallas loses to Jacksonville, Detroit, and Arizona. Things are going to get interesting in that regard, imo.

If Dallas picks 5th, based on the players gone in this mock, it would be between these guys:

Prince Amukamara CB Nebraska
Nick Fairley DL Auburn

That is just my opinion, of course.

Furthermore, I think Newman stays. Jenkins has to battle Amukamara or Peterson if a CB is drafted.

That means Scandrick is on the pine.

I think Sherrod (LT) will rise to the top 15.

Agreed.

Although, I don't they're very good at all. The publication they put out is full of made up weights and heights, not to mention completely bogus 40 times.

It's a cool rag to gleam some info off of, but I wouldn't even pay their mocks any mind.
