South Alabama's Courtney Smith has tools for the trade

Since the first day he walked on the South Alabama practice field, Courtney Smith has attracted plenty of attention.

He's 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds, fast, seems to catch anything in his vicinity, and has become a fan favorite. "First of all, physically, he's as good a looking wide receiver as I've ever seen," USA coach Joey Jones said. "Secondly, he's a very hard worker, very conscientious about the game, really cares about it, and cares about getting better every day.
