Here’s what Express-News Cowboys beat writer Tom Orsborn says you should keep an eye on during tonight’s game:
1. Packers guarding against a letdown: After back-to-back emotional wins over Minnesota and the New York Jets, Green Bay (5-3) could be slow coming out of the gate. Propelled by those key victories and its surging defense, the Packers are the NFC North pacesetters.
Deflated Dallas (1-6), meanwhile, is off to its worst start since 1989, when it went 1-15. The Cowboys have lost four straight while yielding 33.5 points per game during the skid. But with the game on national TV, Green Bay expects Dallas to play much better than it did in last week’s embarrassing 35-17 loss to Jacksonville.
That belief, plus the usual Lambeau Field spark, should help the Packers stay focused.
